Norwegian Institute for Nature Research – Norway’s leading institution for applied ecological research, delivering knowledge and solutions across public and private sectors, focusing on nature and the interactions between nature and society.

Wolverines Spreading South – A Swedish research initiative investigating wolverine population expansion, habitat selection, and ecology in Scandinavia.

United States

Cascades Wolverine Project – Field research and monitoring of wolverines in the Washington Cascades, engaging science and public awareness.

Cascades Carnivore Project – A conservation science research nongovernmental organization with a mission to study and restore carnivore populations at risk of extinction and the mountain ecosystems they call home through innovative science, strong partnerships, and local community action.

Woodland Park Zoo: In 2019, the Woodland Park Zoo initiated the Washington Wolverine Research and Monitoring Group to strengthen collaborations among wolverine projects statewide.

Swan Valley Connections– A conservation and education nonprofit monitoring wolverines in the Southwest Crown of the Continent/ Northwest Montana.

Canada

WolverineWatch.org – a group of wolverine researchers who collaborate on wolverine related scientific research projects, particularly British Columbia and western Canada.

Wildlife Conservation Society Canada – Conducts in-depth field research on wolverine distribution, GPS tracking, den ecology, and human impacts, integrated with policy and public outreach across Canada

Asia

The Mongolian Wolverine Project – A long-term research and community engagement effort in Mongolia that uses wolverines as focal species for climate-sensitive wildlife research and landscape conservation.
